Bouteille 37.5cl, thanks Kyle for the mead box. Batch#415. Ambre/cuivre, dorée au verre légèrement huileux. Arôme offre un excellent bouquet de date avec un rétro fruité et mielleux. Erable se note discrètement et apporte un effet plus caramélisé, la vaille reste, quant à elle, plutôt modeste. Palais est plaisant, adouci, note de cannelle, pointe de fleur d'orange avec un retour doux de la vanille sans être surfait. Retrouve aussi un côté organique du sirop d’érable. Date confère ce côté fruité sec. Petite amertume du miel se note, le tout est agréablement bien sirupeux avec une petite pointe poivrée sur la fin.

English Christmas fruitcake, sour cherries, leather & wood. Light Brazil nuts. Sweet, fruity, nutty & tiny spicy taste. Soft, round, oily, tiny viscous & slightly boozy mouthfeel. Refrigerated 375 ml blue bottle poured into a snifter. Opaque burnt orange, with cinnamon aroma, thick body, and syrupy texture. Taste is sweet honey, cinnamon, dates, some vanilla, and a little hot peppers. Intense and quite sweet.

No head, slightly hazy red-amber color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish boozy, weeds, minerals, oak, bark, booze, sour grass, mild vinegar, almonds, dried dark fruits, spices. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, weeds, dark sugar, almonds, minerals, booze, dried dark fruits, oak, fruit stones, spices, nuts, mild vinegar, caramel, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough, not really my cup of tea.
