375ml bottle. Golden tinged dark brown colour, no head, and aroma of honey, orange blossom, cinnamon, vanilla, some spice. Taste is sweet, honey, syrupy dates, spices, cinnamon, with some pepper and vanilla notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, low carbonation, sweet cinnamon finish. Nicely sippable.

Tasting at Matt’s, corked bottle
Bright amber color. Nice aroma, alcohol, sweet, light spices. Sweet and syrupy; I was a bit afraid about the dates, but the maple touch turns it in a good direction; a bit too boozy in the final, and the flavor are over the top, but overall it’s a good sipper.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy bright reddish burgundy with a small white head. Aroma brings out the honey and maple syrup upfront, followed by dates, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is very sweet and complex, with maple syrup upfront, followed by dates, honey, and a touch of vanilla. Syrupy and cloying, but in a good way. Complex and with all the weird elements coming together well, despite not exposing some of them.

Golden-brown colour. The aroma is rich, syrupy, has a nice touch of maple, lots of honey, a fair bit of dates. On the palate, very sweet, lots of date syrup, maple, honey, and subtle spices. I like the sense of balance here. Touch of alcohol in the finish. As goofy as it sounds, it’s tasty, well-balanced and I like the richness, too.

Bottle at THT massive thanks to kermis. Deep amber reddish brown with really barely any head. Massive honey, cream, lots of spices, bourbon, figs, soft milk chocolate, dried fruits, curry, fudge and it goes on. Very sweet with spicy and bitter finish. Over medium bodied with barely any carbonation. I really like this.

Bottle shared at THT. Clear amber brown with no head. Aroma of fudge, dates, honey/floral notes, raisins, spices, cinnamon showing up. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
