Poured from a fresh 375 ml bottle. Careful opening these; the cork and cage shot off the second the wire was loosened. Aroma is slightly sweet with some moderately strong, jammy, sour cherry notes. Some light oak and funk notes with hints of tropical fruit. As it warms a light funk appears. Pours a dark red with some purple hues and a moderately large, thick, deep pink head that exhibits really nice retention and seems to barley recede. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with quite a large cherry presence including some sour cherry notes. A bit jammy. Light funk and oak. Acidity is moderate with a light citrus presence. Some tannin flavor similar to blackberry skins is also present. Very fruity. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very fruit forward beer that is fairly sweet. The fruit really hides the base beers funk and complexity making it a bit one dimensional.

Bottle. Clear dark red with light pink head. Red wine, quite lactic, musty cherries, yoghurt, some wood and straw. Taste is light sweet with subtle almond bitterness and a light tart touch. Quite fruity, but more in a fruit-yoghurt sweet kind of way. Medium bodied with slight creamy feel and velvety carbonation. Decent stuff.

The nose is fresh, red or black cherries. The beer is slightly sweetish, not too sour. Fresh but sweetish, a bit artificial, like the cherries in a cherry-yoghurt. More sweet than sour. Smooth and easy to drink. A bit sticky, sweetish, Not like a typical Fruit Lambic, a bit more like a sweetish Radler.
