It’s so great that you like coffee. I just love that about you. Speaking of which, you’re holding an oatmeal coffee stout positively redolent with coffee aroma and flavor. It kind of tastes like a chocolate-covered espresso bean, only drier and more like beer. Nifty fact: we’re one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be extremely persnickety about which beans we buy and how we roast them. Taste the persnicketiness!

16oz can pours with a nice dark mahogany colored body that supports a full tan head of foam. The aroma offers up earthy chocolate flavored coffee as well as a touch of maltiness ball and dark roasted malts. The taste is smooth and deep with rich malt sweetened dark roasted coffee, some earthy coffee, burnt malts and chocolate. It maintains dark to near burnt maltiness right into the finish.

473ml can. Pours very dark brown with a thin but persistent tan head. Aroma: coffee beans, lots of it, roasted malts and some chocolate. Taste: predominantly roasted coffee beans, some chocolate giving it a slight sweetness, malt, mildly bitter coffee finish. Silky smooth mouthfeel, medium body. Lovely stuff.

Sandy coloured head soon left a cover on a very dark drown, still, opaque body. Malty coffee aroma. Minimal carbonation. Medium /Full mouthfeel, very smooth - almost like velvet flowing down the throat.... Dark sweet coffee, brown sugar, plum, fig, vanilla, cocoa & roasted malts. This is a super slick beer. A superb winter warmer.
