Tap at Upright, PDX, 25/05/13. Hazed pale yellow with a thin off white head. Nose is lemon, grass, pinch of spice, light ginger, malt, grain. Taste comprises farmy/earthy tones, grass, lemon rind, bitter fruit, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp in the execution. Well balanced saison.

Draft @ Jupiter Sour Sunday, Jupiter, Berkeley, CA. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. has a fruity spicy floral citrus aroma with weak hints of citrus. Fruity malty spicy light sour herbal citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty light sour citrus finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Hazy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, yeast and spices. FLavour is malt, fruit, hops, little brett, yeast, little funky, spcies and medium bitter.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, yeasty and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 160313

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits, and hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

From tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours hazy orange small white head. Herbal, bitter and light spiced aroma. Soapy, spiced and herbal flavoured. Bitter and soapy hoppy finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden blonde with bone white fluffy head. Nose/taste is slight lactose/sour wheat malt, banana, lemon, light breads and farmhouse/wild yeast. Medium to light/medium body. Slightly dry in the finish with a lemony bread. Excellent table beer. Light and refreshing.

A hazed blonde saison with a thick frothy and lacing white head. In aroma, a nice lemony malt with light wild yeast notes, nice and smooth. IN mouth, a nice smooth sweet fruity malt with light cloves and coriander, quite nice. On tap at brewery, Oct. 5 2012.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, faint white head. Aroma of strong yeast, curacao, coriander seed, candy sugar, alcohol (even only at 4.5 it’s noticeable) and a nice medicinal scent. Light-bodied; Sharp sour flavour at first with a good brett flavour at first then fading to a short wheatiness and more of a funky characteristic of yeast, sour grapes, lemons and sugars. Aftertaste is quite complex with a bunch of yeast qualities tucked in to the sourish brett and light wheat and sweetness that is shown at first. Overall, a nice and rather interesting beer that shows well. Low in alcohol means you can drink a lot or the whole of a bottle, but the complexity makes you want to take just one more sip. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Olive Tree Market Place in San Diego, California on 05-May-2012 for US$10.99 sampled at home in Washington on 03-July-2012.
