Draught Lemon yellow, hazy beer; fast gone white head. Spicy, yeasty, meaty esters, citruspeel, coriander. Lemon, coriander-ish, certainly held in check. Very light, thinnish with some wheatslickness. Light, not overspiced wit-saison.

Where the Wild Beers Are, 2011. Like the description says, some wheat and lightly sour. Clear a saison, with light spice of cloves and grass. Cloudy yellow beer. Good flavor, but palate could be improved.

Tap at Upright - turbid gold beer - nose is lemony and wheaty, with light phenolic notes, honey, pear - creamy mouthfeel - light phenols up front (banana, clove, peppery), followed by tangy wheat - some crisp, flinty, mineral character - lightly acidic finish - fruity hallertauer finish - like a cross between a saison and a hefe - tasty.

Bottle from a trade with 5000. Pours cloudy straw color with white head. Grassy, floral hop aroma with doughy yeast. Wheat is apparent in the flavor. Grassy and bready with a sllight tartness. A little dry. Light body with moderate carbonation. I could drink this all day long. Thanks Andre.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, golden yellow orange appearance with a bubbly white head. Bready, light orange citrusy, a touch spicy belgian yeasty, golden malty nose. Somewhat tart, orange citrusy, tangy, mildly spicy belgian ale flavor. Very light drinking saison. Pretty good beer.

750 ml bottle. Nice, clean citrus hops aroma, light pils malt, fruity, pepper. Deep golden, quite clear. With a medium, fine, dense head. Light malt flavor, grapefruit, dust, quite dry, light body, prickly carbonation, minerals--a bit too much, sulfur? Light sweetness, and not too bitter either. Nice, though maybe not quite great, and very sessionable and refreshing. Β Β Β Β Β

750 ml bottle picked up in Portland. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin and soap sudsy looking head. Aromas are understated, but reveal sour, a little barnyard, honey and lemon. Flavor is just as understated and it takes a second or two to adjust to something mellow, but once Iβm there, this is very nice. It sits almost without flavor for just a second after the sip, but then the lemon and funk picks up and washes over the palate before fading to a slightly tart finish. I like this, but wish it were just a touch more aggressive.
