Bottle. Pours slightly hazy ruby, medium creamy white pink head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is huge on the mushrooms, fecal notes, berries, horse blankets, horse manure. Flavor is light tart, fully funky, hay, pasture, manure, light berry. Medium body. The mushroom and manure notes fade as the beer breathes and it ends up quite interesting despite what might read like a terrible description.

Thanks DCLawyer for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing translucent rims, dark tomato red, and sparse white foam. The nose shows light black pepper, hjints of swamp water, and notes of farm house. The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Lightly tart with flavors of horse blanket. Not a lot going on here.

Bottle courtesy of Jacob. Very hazy almost brown pour with a frothy offwhite head. Berry forward nose with pleasant supporting funk, light sourdough cracker malts, minerals & barnyard. Sour, fruity & funky taste. Soft, dry & tart mouthfeel. Solid berry blend "lambic". Pleasant fruit & intriguing funk.

Pink head, reasonably stable, over opaque red beer. Cherries, other fruit, cherrystones. Sweet-sour cherries, bit of vanilla, young oak, sweet/sour jam or jelly. Cherry flavour keeps lingering long into the aftertaste. Acidthinning, slightly slick. Not half bad, this one is a convincing one, which is more than I can say about most of the "Grrrz"’s I suppose than is how ’gueuze’ sounds to Anglo-Saxons?
