On tap at a small bar above Regensburg station, Saturday 21st March 2026. Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Tasty hefeweißbier, nice wheatiness, ticks all the boxes, so banana a little toffee, nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. Score 7.4

From the supercor, Fuengirola, drinking it yesterday night at our rented flat, classical hefe, Bavarian style, good climate and smooth beer, wheat, rather dry for the style and smooth, wheat, a bit fruity and spicy, medium bitterness.

0.5 l bottle @ Mijas, purchased in a SuperCor. Pours hazy orange with thick, but quickly disappearing head. Nose is slight (too slight) banana and yeasty notes. Same taste with short sweetish finish, light body and soft carbonation. A bit mediocre.

Servida en vaso weizen, color anaranjado, turbio, espuma blanca, fina, cremosa y abundante de excelente retención. Aroma a cereal, pan naranja madura y especias. En boca es ligera, refrescante, algo sedosa en textura, notas de cereal, cítricos y especias. Dentro del estilo la considero una opción de nivel medio, perfectamente bebible y disfrutable.

Trübe gelb orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, getreidiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, getreidig, malzig, fruchtig mit Banane, leicht säuerlich. Hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Van tap bij Ratskeller in Regensburg gedeeld. Banaan, zuurtje, zacht, overrijp fruit. (6-9-2021).

Getrunken als Bischofshof Helles Weißbier. Die Brauerei hat vor kurzen das Etikettendesign und zum Teil auch die Namen der Biere geändert. Säuerlich, vergoren fruchtige, leicht an Balsamico erinnernde Noten, im Zusammenspiel mit sämig getreidigen Nuancen. Kohlensäure medium. Gute Substanz. Durchaus ganz lecker.

Pours cloudy golden to orange with a tall frothy white head. Aroma: banana esters, wheat bread, overripe apples, restrained clove. Light plus body. Lively carbonation. Taste: relatively dry. Banana and apples in front. Bread and clove in the background. Low bitterness. Fairly decent weizen.
