Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. De geur en smaak zijn moutig en wat vlak.

Sampled from 0.33 l can from 'Jumbo' (Maastricht), best before September 2018. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and traces of straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, moderately grassy taste of grains, some straw and hints of cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a bit metallic finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, not great though.

Can from the Jumbo, Loosduinen, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is skunky malt, cardboard, hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, watery, grainy malt, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

25/VII/17 - 30cl bottle from a Dutch supermarket (either AH or Jumbo) @ holidays - BB: III/2018 (2017-1117)

Clear pale yellowish beer, small creamy irregular white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, sugary, grains, corn, fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, then malty, banana peel, metallic, little sweet. Aftertaste: fruity touch, metallic, very bitter yet a very unpleasant kind of bitterness.

Bottle @ home. A bit on the watery side of the pilsener spectrum. Other than that it’s fine.

A fairly decent tasting Pilsener. Certainly on the sweet side but ice cold it’s refreshing enough.

can from GMM15 Smells malty, and bread-dough ( reminding me of my work in a bakery, for some reason ? ) Taste is a bit bitter, some citrussy notes. Chemical level is OK in this one, yet present. Good MF and carbo though. not as bad as expected.

Bottle, courtesy of Jumbo and enjoyed at an indoor BBQ in a doctor’s surgery (for real). Pours directly from the bottle into my mouth. Aroma is plain light malt, light hop, light fruit. Flavor is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
