This gem of a beer is from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, proving Jay the beer buyer is earning his keep. All kidding aside, he’s doing an excellent job. 50 cL can opened 7/8/11. Pours a golden color with a very slight haziness. Large frothy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet grainy malts. The taste is grassy notes and grain. Thin bodied. Pretty much a poorly made, generic lager but there are no off-flavors and it has more bitterness than most which is a saving grace.

Can, from trade with saxo. A nice, finger-thick, white head sits patiently on top of a white head. Rather weak aroma, with something resembling a Belgian blonde, only in a pale lager-way. Pale malts, a fruityness and some grassyness. The flavor is more on the normal pale lager side. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Slightly unpleasant touch of cooked vegetables in the end. 110420
