--Bottled, thanks Bearbeer! --Clear mahogany colour, creamy mid sized head. Aroma of milk chocolate and cocoa powder. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate run away, overpowering the pleasant malt. Low bitterness. Worst Thornbridge ever.

Bottle. Nose is milk chocolate, hint of vanilla, dark chocolate, hint of fruit and orange. Taste is chocolate, leading to vanilla, light latte, touch of black coffee, dry slightly woody finish.

bottle from hopt settles pitch dark, pours dark brown. light brown head. Aroma is dominated by aromatic dark chocolate, 60% or so, then some roasted malts, but not imp. stoutish roasted malts, more like bock roasted malts. the dark chocolate dominates. Aroma reminds me a bit of bruery's chocolate rain, but not as extreme though. flavor is tons of dark chocolate, and a decent base of dry roasted malts. starts and end with a strong cocoa flavor.

For an English porter this has more taste and body as usual. Nice roasted malts, decent chocolate aroma, light but not watery, bittersweet, ok
