Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, light chocolate, some banana, nuts. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Nice Brown Ale. Could have used more "bananasplit".

750 ml bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Very dark brown with a hint of olive green. Quite a bit of visible carbonation and a wispy griege head. Light toffee and banana notes in the aroma. Taste is sweet and wheats but also a tad synthetic, like banana yoghurt drink. A bit of hop bitterness in the short finish but it isn’t all that balanced. Oily smooth mouthfeel. Not really all that impressive considering the price, but on its own merits a decent enough drink.

At home. Bottle courtesy of Maakun. Dark brown with big light tan head. Sweet roasted caramel malts, brown sugar, faint overripe banana, quite alcoholic. Very sweet, light chocolate bitter finish. Medium carbonation, spikey alcoholic bite. Bottle is a few months past its sell by date.

Bottle shared. Few months past bb date. Very dark brown with big tan head. Raisins, caramel, lots of different dried fruits, light marzipan, red wine, roasted hazelnuts. Quite sweet and fruity with alcoholic touch. Over medium sweet and light bitter finish. Over medium bodied with light carbonation and very slick soft feel.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB Nov 2015, large sample. Hazy brown color, medium frothy light brown head. Aroma of spicy weizen yeast, slight banana, bit clove, bit caramel and brown cookie. Slight sweet in taste, grainy wheat, bit spicy weizen yeast again. Not my favorite style (changed it to weizen bock, as it is clearly a weizen yeast used). Ok-ish stuff.

Bottle @ benzai. Darl brown colour wirh a fairly large beige head. Smells waldkorn bread, toasted bread, sweetish, hint of wheat. Tastes some banana, sweet, wheat, slightly chocolate and roasty. Not as good as some other uiltje beers and definitely not as outspoken, but it’s pretty decent and nice. Medium body, soft carbo.
