Bottle at Craig’s. Pours jet black with a thin tan head. Aromas of rich christmas pudding, soy sauce and red meat, treacle and bourbon. Amazing nose. Taste subtley blends them all together, coming out with vanilla and maple syrup. Creamy texture, rich mouthfeel, luscious texture. Ace stuff.

EVERYONE is saying this is Wonderfull ... even the Raters are drooling and my SISTERS insist i get more... even though i try to tell them ARGGGGG

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, pungent sweet fruity chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, grassy floral hops, licorice and molasses. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, high quality dark chocolate, dark honey, bourbon, toffee, vanilla fudge, caramel, dark roast coffee, banana bread, roasted coconut, charred wood, moist soil and hints of tingling alcohol. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark honey, high quality dark chocolate, brown sugar sweetened dark roast coffee, vanilla fudge, toffee, caramel, bourbon, roasted coconut, charred wood, warming alcohol and hints of moist soil and minerals. Mouthfeel is round, sticky sweet, oily, silky, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, toffee, vanilla fudge, burnt caramel, dark honey, dark roast coffee, cocoa powder, charred wood, bourbon, hay, roasted nuts and moist soil. Big, very sweet and vulgar bourbon barrel aged bomb that manages to balance every thing out in some way. A great beer!Re-rate! Bumping this up ever so slightly. Fantastic barrel aged IS.
