Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is opaque orange (almost orange juice) with many dark floaties, nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width, white foamy head with poor retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is strong citrus and tropical fruit with hint of scalliony herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, that's one great Citra DIPA! Aroma and flavor are spot on and bursting out of the glass. Mouthfeel is perfect
Really smooth and juicy

Pours a bit unclear, light blonde. Small white head. Smell is full, aromatic, creamy , not as one-dimentional citrussy as expected. Taste is full, very tropical fruity, intense, complex, bit creamy. very nice IPA. Lots better than expected.

Canned 11/14/18, drunk 11/24/18.
Top pour is a clear, rosy-tinged, bronze-golden and the last third of the glass I mix in the bottom fifth of the can, which produces a moderately-to-heavily hazy appearance. White head is medium-sized and modestly well-retained either way.
The aroma doesn't change too much with or without sediment, which is surprising. Both ways it produces a lightly-to-moderately juicy, tangerine and meyer lemon-rich aroma with light honey and cracker-like malts below it. Clean yeast is fruity but low on bubble gum and there is neither resin, flaw nor alcohol. Just a straightforward, clean, bright, well-attenuated Citra/citrus bomb, it seems with varied, round, juicy citrus notes and perfectly matched cracker/honey-like malt to gently balance.
In the mouth it's very nicely attenuated with cracker, biscuit and soft honey-like malt notes and tight carbonation. Fresh pineapple, tangerine and meyer lemon lead to light orange sherbet with a juicy finish showing light-to-moderate, perfectly balancing bitterness. Shockingly light and refreshing, it's difficult to not gulp the thing down in three or four sips. Clean yeast, as the Bright series shows, with more hop character than the base series. Citrus-forward, but still showing good malt character. Absolutely zero resin, alcohol, aggressiveness or heaviness to it. I'm literally shocked how good the Bright/Bbbright series has become. Can't WAIT to try Bbbright-Galaxy.
