Can from Beerdome. At 6.5%. Aroma is smooth bourbon with dark malt, milk chocolate, lactose, notes of oak. Flavour is medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Body is medium, feels too thin for the bourbon aroma. Overall pleasant and smooth.

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, bourbon, oak and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, lactose, vanilla, coffee and oak in a dry, bourbon warming finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Easy to drink, pretty tasty.

Can sampled at THT December. Clear dark brown with dark beige head. Flowery, soft bourbon, milk chocolate, weird herbal, grassy, dried flowers too. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied with slick and dry feel. Not my thing.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 5/2/2017. Listed as 6.5% on the can. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, oak, toffee, toasted dark bread, light smoke/dark fruits, and roast/oak/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of roast/bready malt, cocoa/lactose, and bourbon barrel notes; with decent strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, oak, toffee, toasted dark bread, light smoke/dark fruits, and roast/oak/toasted earthiness. Light roasted bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, oak, toffee, toasted dark bread, light smoke, and roast/oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, cocoa/lactose, and bourbon barrel flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness as well. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, lightly sticky/chalky, and slightly silky/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is fairly well hidden; a light warmth lingering after the finish, but no barrel booziness. Overall this is a very good barrel aged milk stout. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, cocoa/lactose, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Was expecting a bit more out of this, but it is definitely a nice improvement over the base beer. A lot of really nice flavors, and a better mouthfeel. A very enjoyable offering.
