Went to IKEA and bought a bed and...this. Who knew? Pours chestnut brown from the bottle. Thin off white head that fades away. Aroma is a bit of caramel, a bit of hazelnut, and kind of dusty. Taste has mild roasted grain flavors, is bittersweet, turning mildly bitter at the finish. Feels like there is potential but the weak watery palate fails to carry the flavors through to the end. Overall not much to it.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the Tottenham area branch. Pours clear reddish brown with a creamy, khaki head. The aroma holds ripening berries, brown bread, hints of caramel. The floavour follows with similar characteristics: sweet and lightly jammy berries, sugary brown bread, minimal Hop expression. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, with more brown bread, raisins, berries. Easy stuff. Very basic, but enjoyable.

Bottle at home, bought at Ikea Haarlem. Not bad at all. I suppose when this beer was not from Ikea (and it wasn't on the label) the ratings would be much higher. Deep red, brown color, beige thin head. Taste okay for the abv. Nice.

Dark brown with a quite dense off-white head that shows good retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma of caramel and slight dark bread with a herbal whiff, reasonably intense. Taste is caramel malts, slightest roastiness, a touch of butter and again a herbal hint in the finish. Medium to high sweetness with low bitterness, overall a tad too sweet, expecially in a quite sticky finish. Light bodied with quite light carbonation, a bit too watery even for the style. Overall it does it's job in being an easy drinker, but it's a quite empty beer.

Bought at the Reading branch. Can’t not drink it following flat-pack assembling which may or may not have included some bouts of rage. Sweet yeasty floral aroma, with dank basement undertones. Looks like a glass of cola, with a thin off-white head. Sweet. Pretty weak but for me that’s preferable to sickly sweet. Light bodied. Watery. Lively carbonation. Short finish. Not great but cold and wet. Main issue is the complete lack of flava.

33cl bottle from IKEA, Reading. Pours the colour of well stewed tea with a thick cream head; earthy caramel aroma; lively in the mouth with a sweet caramel taste; then an unpleasant earthy bitterness, leading to a very thin finish.
