Perfectly clear orange and copper coloured body with a very thin, pure white head that fades quickly and leaves nothing at all. Aroma of very nice and beautiful bretty, funky, grassy, oaky, woodsey, great yeast foeder notes that show a lot of brett and complex yeast coming through with a good deal of citrus as well, but also some sweetness - very nice in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie and honey flavours dominate with a lot of grassy notes and bread as well, with a light sweetness from the honey and caster sugar, but the bretty and foeder complexity from the oak and cedar is very nice here and super complex. Aftertaste shows a lot of brett and funk with a lot of cedar and dry notes, but still a lot of foeder and bretty, sour pungency that hits this nicely and shows a great bitterness. Overall, a great complex beer that doesn't really show as a tripel without much malt, wheat or honey, but a ton of dryness and complexity, mainly from the brett, but also the wood - very nice throughout. I sampled this 37,5 split cL bottle, purchased from Silver Gulch [brewery] in Anchorage Airport (ANC) a few minutes before leaving for my flight on 02-July-2021 for US$10,99 sampled in my hotel room here in DFW, Dallas, Texas on 03-July-2021 after returning to the lower 48 after my vacation.

Bottle picked up from Beer Republic, nr Breda, Netherlands. Consumed at home Wednesday 6th January 2021 listening to Kelly Stoltz - Ah and cooking seafood pie. Pours dirty golden in colour with a white head. This is nice.....but....and it's a definite but...the Brett and Triple should be more closely aligned, it's too much Brett, too tart and the base beer is almost completely lost. Yep that's my thoughts....good but could do better.

Sehr komplexes Bier, erst ist Bret recht dominant, Champagner, Pfirsich, mittig dann kommt das Triple durch, bitter, etwas Malz, erdig. Sehr komplexer Abgang, hallt lange nach und verändert sich weiter.
