Zum ersten Mal präsentierten die Brauereien Jan Kemker und Gruthaus den Gemeinschaftssud Dubbel Porse am internationalen Tag des Grutbiers 2018. Dieses historische Bier zeichnet sich aus durch eine Extraportion Gagel (mittelniederdeutsch: Porse) und gemischte Fermentation. Es wurde mit verschiedenen teilweise wilden Hefekulturen vergoren, mit Brettanomyces und Lactobazillen. Mit 6,5 % vol. wäre dieses nicht alltägliche Bier auch im 15. Jahrhundert eine kostbare Rarität gewesen. Die grutbegeisterten Bierhistoriker Kemker und Overberg sind sich jedenfalls sicher: So nah an das mittelalterliche Original des münsterschen Grutbiers ist bisher noch kein Rekonstruktionsversuch gekommen.

Again nice herbs in this, soft oak, sour grains. Lemon and mint, dry white wine and wild yeast. Just medium sour. Love it.

Flaska från Etre Gourmet. Disig orangebrun med liten vit krona. Kryddiga toner av pors, jenka/tigerbalsam, mossa, skogiga inslag. Mellanstor kropp, frisk syra som bryter igenom. Nypon, snäll subtil rökighet, apelsinskal/zest, snällt jordig ton. Snygg.

Glass from bottle at 'Levendige biercultuur in Duitsland, het Reinheitsgebot beats ALS' Beer Geeks meeting at Davo Bar Arnhem, thanks to Tom T and donation by Jan Kemker. Color: Hazy orange, very thin white head. Aroma: Herbal, clove. Taste: Herbal, moderate sweet, light tart and moderate herbal bitterness. Notes of wormwood, clove, anise, myrtle, cumin, juniper. Complex. Fruity hints of blueberry. Medium body, below avergae carbonation. Funky hints. Nice complexity. Lovely beer.

Bottle from Brewcomer, Kiel. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light fruity, citrus and herbal. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Sweet and light acidic finish. 010220

Tap at Moeder Lambic, 13th November 19. Outstanding Gruit, pours clear brown and a rim of white head. Aroma is tart so complex flavour, tart, light herbal, sour, fruity then grainy and musty and earthy in the finish, with a grainy unusual finish. Lovely beer.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, yeast, alcohol, and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of lemons, yeast, spices, brett, and malt, leading to a tart finish.
