Pours hazy vibrant deep orange with a frothy goldenish offwhite head that leaves some sparse sticky trace and thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity, slightly grassy, slightly piney and tiny boozy with freshly baked white bread, caramel, fruit toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, lychee, kumquats, freshly cut grass, pine needles, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity, grassy and slightly boozy with white bread, caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, papaya, kumquats, freshly cut grass, pine needles, resinous wood, alcohol and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, round, sticky, oily, boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, kumquats, freshly cut grass, pine needles, resinous wood, alcohol and lemon zest. This kind of sweet, sticky and huge DIPA I’ve come to hate since my initial days of beergeekery when everything that tasted a lot was good so my expectations were modest at best. That’s probably why this blew me away! Yes, it’s sweet, sticky and in every sense of the word huge but the fresh massive fruity, grassy and piney hop but somehow manages to balance the beer making it the perfect offering in a style I hate. Respect!

Draught. Creamy White excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter fantastic flavor. Long heavy bitter fniish. Creamy palate. World class.
