33cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! Black colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet bourbon, wood, molasses, liquorice, roast, booze. Flavour is quite sweet, rye bread, bourbon, wood, liquorice, some roast, molasses, booze, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

A little over enthusiastic on the barrel like rolling over Niagara Falls. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Roast and whiskey with a little dark chocolate. Caramel. Bottle.

Head has a hue I haven’t seen before: somewhere between beige, brown, and cherry, on top of a black body with hints of red. Aroma is a lot of fruity barley, like chewing on a chocolate covered cherry. Lots of sweetness there, but not too complex. Flavour is a heavy and warm pumpernickel (poured it warm anyway), chocolate sunday, lindt 70% cocoa kind of cholate vibe with hints of liqueur. Chewy and sweet, a big leathery slap in the face to finish it off. Good stuff, well balanced, a big beer but still very drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with black chocolates notes and light whiskey notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a good mix of roasted malt with sweet creamy black chocolates notes with some light vanilla and whiskey not sot round off any rough edges. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and real apparent alcohol notes. Quite enjoyable for the style.

Smooth and intense viscous beginning. Lots of wood, nice intense whisky aroma. The mainpart is thick, nice roasted malt, moderate bitterness. Intense and great whisky aroma with the great and deep sticky malty body. The aftertaste is long, intense dark, dried plums in whisky with lots of wood. Absolutely great. Hints of bitterness, round!

355 ml bottle. A black beer with a very thin, dark brown head. Sweet aroma of bourbon, liquorice, dark chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, liquorice, dark chocolate and a dry, bitter coffee finish with a warming bourbon aftertaste that lingers. Medium to full body with a thick, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very complex and surprisingly good. I can’t believe this came out of Saskatchewan. A must try.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Nose brings out rich wood, bourbon barrels, and some roasted malt in back - very complex. Flavour is exceptionally well-balanced, with many different elements working in good harmony - with moderate bourbon barrels of high quality, a little wood, some roasted malt and a little caramel. Now this is how you do a bourbon barrel imperial stout. Extremely highly drinkable and smooth on the palate. Wonderful stuff.
