Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 16B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 007.16 (BBF 04/2017). AROMA: medium nuttiness with a low roasted malt aroma. APPEARANCE: dark brown color with ruby highlights. large light brown head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low maltiness (chocolate) with a medium nutiness. Medium bitterness with an almost dry finish and bitterness that endures. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: an oatmeal stout with a bit muted flavor and a bit excessive residual bitterness.
