1/III/14 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a (2014-231)
GUSHER ALERT!!! Wished I had read the ratings before I opened my bottle, gushing all over my fucking coffee table and floor.
Cloudy dirty beige beer, small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots and lots of almonds and marzipan, floral, very sugary, amaretto, some dried orange peel. MF: soft to no carbon left, medium to light body. Taste: grains, malty, little sweet, almonds, bitter touch, pretty sourish, weird. Aftertaste: bready, toast, pretty bitter, almonds, little sweet, some marzipan. The beer is not bad on it's own, but the gushing makes it lose a lot of points all right...

33cl Bottle bought at De Hopduvel, Gent. Extreme gusher, lost 2/3 of the content. What could be saved was cloudy pale yellow, white head. Aroma of yeast, quite bitter, light tart, pale malts. Flavour is bitter, nutty, yeasty, grass, light malty, more yeast, lemon. Light-bodied. I think this could be really nice if it wasn’t such a huge gusher.
