A light IPA beer produced to be served slightly chilled and enjoyed in the Lincolnshire sunshine. Its taste is slightly citric, with a light caramel edge, and is very easy to drink.

LAZY DAYS: Hand pulled pint in ’The Countryman’ which is the name of the brewpub that fronts Liela Cottage beers. Light golden body with a white foaming head: easy drinking session beer with a mini-bitter finish and smell. I found it an unassuming brew that although containing a pleasant blend of flavours there was a lack of ’umph’: it is only 3.6% ABV though and ideal for all the local oldies who arrive in their mobility scooters each lunchtime.

Picked up from the Brewpub by Barry, Dec 2011, cheers Barry. Consumed 11th March 2012 Btw i have the bottle in front of me and I am certain that this is the same beer, but it is called Leila Cottage Leila’s Lazy Days NOT Hazy Days. Pours gold, there is a touch of haziness, white head. Keen to get out of the bottle but not too much of a gush, very slight hint of sharpness on the nose. Touch of citrus, drying, very, very slight sourness but not too bad. Really quite dry, light bitterness, it’s ok. A5 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.7
