From a 355ml bottle on 5/2/2014. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a small head. Has quite a powerful aroma of toffee and caramel, with fruity and floral notes also present. Taste wise, this quite a malty IPA, with toffee and butterscotch most prominent, but there’s also a good dash of sweet citrus and stone fruit present as well. The hops kick in late, with a big, very dry bitterness balancing things out. The palate is a touch velvety and the carbonation average. This is a really good malt driven IPA - it almost has a touch of barley wine about it. Delicious stuff.

On tap at Avery. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is rich hop grassy pine needles. The flavour is strong bitter with a malt liqourice spicy resin palate.

Draft sampled at the brewpub. Pours clear orange amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin, floral aspects and caramel malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A nice IPA.

Nearly clear, soft amber with a short, white head. Floral, citrus hop aroma....a little bread. Piney, peel bitter flavor, fruity, caramel... A nice, if average IPA.

Canned 355ml. -from Cervezorama 2.0 Madrid. Orange/golden coloured, creamy white head, flowery hoppy nose. Moderate malty, fresh grapefruity hoppy and slight caramel taste with bitter finish and long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Pleasant IPA.

On tap at the brewpub it is a clear holder color with a lot of effervescence. It has the aroma of citrus and the taste is of citrus that lingers on the palate with bitter overtones.

From Jul 2007

Purchased as part of a mixed 6 Pack at Wilbur's in Ft Collins.

Pours from 12oz bottle a clear medium gold with a good head of foam that shrinks to a fine broken layer and it has some lacing.

The smell is strong on the citrus(grapefruit) and is quite inviting.

The taste is all hops up front. Lots of grapefruit with and some floral with a little grassy and in the background, I get a decent malty profile that helps give this IPA some balance. Very drinkable. I could easily see myself enjoying another bottle or 2. ;^)

The mouthfeel is nice and smooth and the carbo is medium. It's not an over the top type of IPA but it's a solid example of the style and it would be a regular of mine if it was available locally. Good stuff.

Burk på Nya Tröls. Massiv humledoft med grape och tall men också en nyans dillchips. Stor kropp med karamellsötma, grape, tall, resinbeska. Inte purfärsk men fortfarande riktigt bra.

Pours a clear golden yellow from the can with a frothy, white head. Smell of fresh citrus and hops. Sweet taste of malts balanced by the hops. Not too bitter, a great everyday IPA.
