15 January 2022. Bottle from Beers@Moviefun. Vintage 2014. Bottled: 16/6/2019. Hazy dark amber, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of raisin, fig, dried banana, soggy brioche, straw, caramel, brown rum, green apple, vague solvent or nail polish remover. Taste has sweet raisin, red apple & dried banana; sourish wheat & unripe green apple under a carammelly, brioche-like malt body, bit phenolic-spicy, herbal-yeasty. Earthy hoppy finish, woody with dried fruits, some wet grass and boozy brown rum-like alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation. Quad Saison? Slightly over the top but it's quite the ride.

Bottle from Etre. Hazy dark amber in color with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Earthy and hints of vanilla with bits of tea and a whole lot of alcohol notes. Not much saison left in this mostly just barrel notes.

Struise sait faire largement mieux.

Brownish cream head; opaque deep brown chestnut beer. Alcoholic, boozy nose, sweet-ish, rum, quite a bit of wood. Syrupy, alcoholic, sweet chocolate; whilst the finish has a bit of bitterness, mixed with raw alcohol. Aftertaste returns to chocolate, pralines with slightly more bitter chocolate, but in the end the booze remains. Very well-bodied, lots of alcoholwarming. Boozy might be an understatement. Punch-in-the-face rather than complexity. And for Pete's sake, Urbs, don't call this a Saison!!!

33cl bottle from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, pale tanned, good retention. C: brown, hazy. A: woody, bit vanilla, rum, mellow fruity, caramel, port wine, dried fruits. T: rich malty base, bit woody, rum touch, fruity, dry herbal bitterness on the palate, bit nutty, boozy, bready, caramel, soft carbonation, aroma was promising for me but taste is not so nice, ok, not disaster and BA saison beer style is not always good idea.

Dark amber colour, white foam. Nose of strong alcohol, solvent, rum, some caramel sweetness. Unbalanced. Sharp. Not very good.
