75cl bottle - Pours an almost clear pinkish peach colour with a small white head. The aroma is vinous, red grapes, yeast, funk and woody notes. A moderately tart and fruity taste, red grapes, strawberries, woody tannins and funk with a drying fruity and light sour finish.

Bottle, many thanks kraddel! Rather clear rosé-amber color with white head. Aroma is red wine grapes, strong funk and leather. Taste is juicy red grapes, wood, funky Lambic, and quite some tannins. Sparkly carbonation. Great stuff!

Pours rather unclear, peachy amber. Small white ring of foam. Smell is oaky, funk. grapes are pronounced, but relatively mild. Taste is fairly intense. Very aromatic- more floral than it is fruity.

Rerate august 2021. Got way more funky, dry oaky, intense sharp and dry. Acidity is medium intense, very balanced. Expressive beer that evolved a lot in just over a year. Maintaining the score, but it's more interesting to drink now, than it was before.

Sample @ 1st edition Brewver Belgian gathering, Mar 07, 2020. Thanks Eugene.

Very limited Toon van den Broek lambic with grapes, from a 75 cl bottle shared by tderoeck, cheers Tim! Snow white, open, lightly lacing, loose and dissolving head on a deep rosé wine-coloured beer with deeper ruby tinge. Aroma of grape skin, lemon rind, solvents (paint thinner), redcurrant, peach, oak furniture, crabapple, red wine vinegar, bread crust. Fruity, estery onset, redcurrant, sour cherry and lemon tartness as well as indeed a hint of grape wryness, acidic with a slight (wine) vinegary edge, softish in carbonation; cereally-bready base underneath drying lactic and fruit-acidic sourness with a wry grape skin and (probably even more so) grape seed effect in the end, aided by very pronounced tannic woodiness; ends cleanish, fruity but more in a berry-like than actually 'grapey' manner, tart and dry, with little yeast effects worth mentioning. Decent enough grape 'lambic', but a tad too tannic and overall lacking in depth and complexity compared with e.g. the now endless string of Cantillon grape lambics. Frankly a bit underwhelming compared with other van den Broek offerings I had so far, I am however confident that he can do better with, perhaps, a more generous grape dosage?
