Bottle shared by Jeremy. La Sirene Reserve Saison 2016 BA Vintage Saison 7% Lovely orange gold with a thick eggshell white head of foam. The aroma is soft and approachable with a musty cork rustic saison. Soft light bodied with an earthy sour flavor very drinkable and subtle compared to the Oxbow.

Thanks Shuichi for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing deep gold with sparse white foam but the bottle did overflow. The nose shows intense notes of barnyard, brett, peach, apricot and a little hay. The palate is fully carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with clean saison maltiness throughout with light notes of stone fruit and a little more intensity of stone fruit on the end. Light drinking, fantastic.

Seavans tasting, thanks Shu for this! Pours hazy orange, some white bubbles. Funky and tart nose, good light white wine vinegar, some pears. Tastes tart, good funk going on, farmhouse - kind of saison that I really like. Fruity, good super well balanced acidity there, light bitterness coming out in the finish. Oaky. Refreshing and totally satisfying. Digging this.

Slightly hazy golden color. Big citrusy bright nose with lemon, tangerines with lots of oak and yeastiness. Not traditional but fun. Light, puckering sour, tons of oak, lots of fruit. Big oaky finish. Well balanced. Oak is almost too much, but like it a lot.

Bottle says a blend of 2015 and 16 aged in Burgundian barrels and bottled in 2018. Clear deep gold with a white head. Aroma is barn funky with toast, oak, apricots, damp bracken. Medium bodied, slightly slippery. Medium carbonation. Dryish but fruity at first; dry, woody and stemmy towards the end. Enlivening and (despite the quite oaky finish) refreshing.
