Standing 12 ft. tall at the center of the brew deck is our HopBack vessel, where whole-flower hops swirl in hot wort and open up this deep amber with layers of grapefruit and pinesap. Crystal, Munich and Pilsner malts harmonize to add a complex balance of chewy caramel and toffee notes.

Cask, 5.8%, dry hopped with simcoe. Grassy hop aroma. Hazy red amber colour, no head. The flavour is hoppy, slightly grassy, a bit sweet. Well-balanced. Low carbonation, probably because of the cask.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear amber with 3/4" beige head. Little lacing, heavy body, low carbonation, and sticky texture. Taste is caramel malt, some grapefruit, and finishes piney bitter. Not a fan of the pine.

Bottle. Cloudy amber body. Short, frothy off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Malty aroma with floral notes. Raw grain, caramel, citrus, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky in the finish, lively carbonation. Beer is reminiscent of Alpha King without the big hop profile.

10/10/8/8/11/8

such an easy beer to drink, amber in color obviously, mostly hoppy, not as much as the nugget nectar which its belief that this is the son to nugget nectars father, and the flying mouflan is the grandad, but hoppy enough to be delicious, a little more malty than say a pale ale, and better because of it. really delicious.

On tap. Poured a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipated almost completely. Aroma had a nice combination of bread, grain and a light pine hop note. Flavor began with bread and sweet grain and was joined by a nice pine hop in the finish to round out the beer.

Another surprise find in family members garage full of macros. Taste is malty, and of caramel, and fruit, and plenty floral notes. Standard amber and nice end to a 4 rate holiday party where expectations were zero.
