Typically English Day is a Pale ale using British experimental hops CF185 and CF218 hops.
To showcase new British hops, we paired the delightfully citrus experimental CF185 and 218 hops with some light spices to create a quietly contemplative and refreshing pale ale set to the beauty of the astronaut’s song.

On tap at Lifeboat Margate, Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Big hoppy attractive white pepper hop aroma . Lots of white pepper nettle herb flavour Some tea tannin flavour. Starts well but a bit harsh tea like for me. Settles down a bit but I do get some citrus flavours. Lemon. But also that tea thing. Decent but challenging. Creamy good carbonation mouthfeel . Some harsh bitterness on the finish .

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren, Aarhus. Pours nearly clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus with estery notes. Bitter, hoppy and grassy flavour with notes of yeast and mild, malty touches. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Not bad.
