Dry malty taste that goes well in this beer type.

4/23 bottle as Lentebier. Yellow gold with a dense white head that lasts all the way. Yeasty lemon and orange pudding aroma with some cloves and pepper. Creamy texture. Doughy yeasty flavours countered by some phenolic spice notes before citrus and firm bitterness. That phenolic bite won't be for everyone but worked for me.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, spicy, mild alcohol along with citrus, some tropical fruits and mild bready maltiness. Flavour is fruity, spicy, zesty, some yeasty, mild floral and some sweet malty notes. As it gets warmer it also gets some slight notes of alcohol to it.

750ml bottle at The Old Bookshop, Bedminster, Brizzle. Pours hazed dark golden orange with a beige cap. Aroma: spicy, yeasty, over-ripe stone fruits, peppery hints. Taste: dry, spicy yeasty, stone fruits, berries, pepper. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

bottiglia 75 cl, vintage 30.05.20, schiuma bianca media grana media persistenza, colore giallo torbido, al naso note floreali agrumi, in bocca frutta matura, alcool evidente, carbonazione moderata, amaro accentuato acidula. Molto potente! Molto buona. Che giornata….. Buona Pasqua c. 17.04.22

Pour is a cloudy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is super fruity esters with even some white wine showing up. Flavor is white grapes with some honey and a chalky dry malt. There is a little alcohol felt after the swallow. Pretty good saison. The flavors were all there and even with the bigger abv then usual this was still refreshing.

0.75 bottle, not resealable. Smell- weak to medium, hops, citrus, Belgian. Foam- thin, caramel, Belgian yeast, citrus, large in the mouth. Head is large, white color. Appearance - brewer bottle cap, simple bottle wrapped in paper, I like the idea, but I will not give a bonus this time, make it a bit more interesting and you get a bonus. From - snifter Taste - weak hops, Belgian yeast, citrus, caramel, sweetness, very faint sourness. Damn, this feels nice, there is alcohol but is balanced well with the rest, I actually like this. Very nice, Belgian-ish saison.

Getrunken aus der großen Flasche mit dem Papiermantel Ein gemütliches Bier, das keinem weh tut. Es hat einen leichten, süßlichen Körper mit einem fruchtigen Abgang. Eine gute Dosis Hefigkeit und ein paar nette Gewürznoten hat es auch. Dadurch kommt der Alkohol sehr friedlich rüber.

Trübe gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger, hopfiger, malziger, würziger Geruch. Geschmacklich leicht hefig, malzig, hopfig mit Citrus, würzig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter bis mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Une saison à 9%, c'est peu courant et c'est d'ailleurs un sacré défi pour un brasseur que d'allier la fraîcheur et légèreté d'une saison avec la force d'un alcool à 9%. Le résultat sur cette Glazen Toren ne me persuade pas totalement avec un alcool quelque peu dissonant avec la base de saison. Elle n'en est pas moins intéressante et même globalement appréciable. Blond paille voilé en verre avec une mousse blanche et crémeuse de 5 mm, le nez se porte sur les céréales, le romarin, le citron, la coriandre, la banane et le vin blanc (riesling). A la fois agréable et complexe. L'attaque est fraîche, sur un bon équilibre malt/houblon, légèrement acidulée. L'alcool, bien que bien intégré, trouble la perception de la saison. Belle richesse aromatique qui reprend le nez avec une coriandre plus présente. L'alcool devient plus fort en seconde bouche, faisant bien ses 9 %. Me cocktail aromatique se porte alors davantage sur le fruit avec banane et pêche. Bonne présence de l’arrière-bouche qui reprend l'attaque, avec une coriandre qui se renforce donc mais avec un alcool plus présent. Ce dernier prend également les devants sur le final, long. La faire vieillir ferait peut-être évoluer l'alcool et la rendre plus homogène.
