Pours nice darker shade of orange, white head. Aroma is mainly fresh, a bit of fruitiness that is subdued by hop grassines. Taste is quite straightforward IPA, not too many layers, just bitterness, resins, clean and dry. More fruitiness than average I guess. Simple and works.

12oz bottle. One the original Red IPAs for sure. Unfiltered orange-red body. Thin, foamy, off-white head. Kind of old school thick, ringwood feeling tastes. Thick caramel, amber malts The hops attempt to balance it out, with some classic NW piny, resinous feels. Not really that good for 2015.

A surprisingly sweet aroma proves that this is indeed a little different from your average west coast IPA. The hop-led assault on tasting is great because of the sheer number of hops used. A really nice IPA.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with an inch of white head that never quite disappears. Aroma of over-ripe grapefruit, Butter Menthols, peach. Sweet and fruity - peaches, grapefruit, orange - dries out a lot and is quite woody and herbal at the quite aggressive bitter finish. A bit burning there too. Odd, worth another look.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Tom. Hazy orange. Aroma of floral and citric hops, kinda stale. Flavor has light sweetish maltiness and a bitter and slightly grapefruity finish. Medium-bodied.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Hazy amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with orange, apricots, dried fruit, Seville orange and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, orange, treacle toffee and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Wew, lots of scary chunks floating around in this brownish hazy IPA. Smell is a little dull hops. Big viscous ipa blast on the tongue, wew. Ends up with a cloyingly sweet perfume finish. Yes, that finish is really unique, don’t think I had that before. From a short stubby bottle. Burns a little once it hits the bottom of the hatch. Near the end of the session, I think I’m getting a tad dizzy. Gets a little more overt as the session continues.
