De Razende Swaen wordt al gebrouwen sinds de oprichting van de brouwerij in 1997. En die ruim 20 jaar schaven aan het recept proef je. Deze tripel van bovengisting is donderblond van kleur, heeft een kruidige geur en krachtige moutsmaak. De afdronk is stevig, kruidig en zoet. Aldus de brouwer.

Hazy golden color, compact head. Some aroma of malt and sauerkraut, lightly cheesy. The malt flavor is reasonably good, it has a strange Parmesan touch; correct bitterness, light spicy character.

Bottle from EkoPlaza, Eindhoven. Pours dark yellow with almost no white head. Aroma is freshly baked wheat bread, malt, gravy and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is medium bitter with caramel and malt with faint hints of licorice cough drops.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, orange and coriander. Flavour hits you initially with strong malt, along with a light fruitiness. Medium to high sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Some alcohol in the finish.

Medium, dense yellowish head, with some lace over finely carbonated copper-orange beer. Dry-spicy nose, hints at dough, spices, bit nutty and orange-y; honey. Bitterish honey, caramelly malts, waffles syrup, if diluted, but not sweet. Well-attenuated if slick, medium bodied at least. Bit of alcoholwarming. Aftertaste has again specifically non-sweet honey, long-lasting. Not half bad. Fuller, caramelly tripel with not excess sweetness.

Stalish aroma has citrus and some spices and alcohol. Flavour has solvent-like alcohol and some ripe fruits, especially citrus. Alcohol and citrus start to come more through when warming up. Not good.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is bready malts, alcohol, some mild fruits and quite earthy as well. Flavour is honey, fruits, nectar, some slight notes of alcohol and mild maltyness.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy gold beer, good off white head. Semi dry palate. Clean fresh malt but a bit dry. A little brandyish booze and an okay sprinkling of hop! Dry finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Alright.
