De Razende Swaen wordt al gebrouwen sinds de oprichting van de brouwerij in 1997. En die ruim 20 jaar schaven aan het recept proef je. Deze tripel van bovengisting is donderblond van kleur, heeft een kruidige geur en krachtige moutsmaak. De afdronk is stevig, kruidig en zoet. Aldus de brouwer.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, some small floaties visible; orangey-fruity nose with honeyish pale malt and alcohol; moderate to robust sweet-biiter flavour, medium to full bodied; robust sweet pale malty finish with oranges and alcohol. Drinkable.....

30cl Bottle, thanks Rob&Joke! Hazy golden orange colour, creamy white head that fades fast. Aroma of butter, malts and fruity esters. Flavour is thick malty, light fruity, alcoholic, sticky sugars, light bitter alcohol finish. Rather thick and smooth mouthfeel, but it just tastes like a very cheap beer.

[30cl bottle, as De Leckere Razende Swaen, 8.0% abv] Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet bready and pale malty nose with mouldy phenols and spices. Sugary sweet flavour, medium bodied with a flat carbonation. Bready malt character, pretty one-dimensional for a Tripel and way too sweet. Sweet, phenolic and spicy finish. Disappointing Tripel [07.I.09].

Bottle 300ml.[ As De Leckere Tripel ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, peppery, rubber. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, finish is peppery - alcoholic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081004]

30 cL bottle as Triple, courtesy of fonefan. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a fully gone head. Mild spiced and slight butterish malty aroma. Sweet caramel and light spiced flavoured with a light yeast presence. Classic yet light triple. Ends with a lingering spice and caramel malty finish.
