Keyaki part 2. Pretty nice. Roasty, chocolate, something interesting. Wheaty. Cocoa powder. Dry. One of my favourite Swan Lake beers.

@ Aldgate. Medium brown, lighter choc and mellow dark malts. Pretty simple but nice fudgey flavours.

Dark, no much head, a bit flat. Aroma displays some roasted barley, quite subtle. I dig the taste, body feels thin but has a bit of meaty smoke there, nice and drinkable. Overall feels grainy and not dry, not sweet. Sessionable.

Medium dark brown color. Lightly smoked nose with good roasted character. The mouth is a tad thin, but nice roasted character. The Belgian yeast is also very subtle. Decent, but not exceptional.

Draft at Craft Beer Forrest. Deep black with a small tan head. Roasted coffee, earthiness and woody notes with a funky yeast character as well. Cola-like mouthfeel. Nice roasted malt flavor with earthiness and yeast on the palate. Smooth finish with some Farnese and bitterness present. Great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grey Stout on 13 Jul 2015 at 21:06 - Score: 7

On tap at Beer Komachi. A cola black with a tan head. The nose is sweet chocolate malts with some yeast character. Med-light body with sharp carbonation. The taste is sweet, chocolatey, a bit bready with a minimal roasty finish. Pretty good but doesn’t seem as good as it was at Keyaki I guess.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2015. Almost black with a low head. Nose give Belgian yeast, licorice, chocolate, coffee. Very spicy yeast flavor, chocolate and cream. Crisp and tasty and very drinkable. Well done light Belgian stout.
