Bouteille 75cl partagée avec l'équipe du Birrot. BB 14/01/2024. Souvent dégustée mais c'était idéal que de partager cela en Espagne avec une équipe qui sait apprécier ce genre de produit. Toujours splendide avec plus de 10 ans en bouteille et quasi 16 ans pour le vieux lambics - une bière tout autant spéciale que j'avais paticipé à vider des milliers de bouteilles pour les deux lots de ce format (²).
Dorée/pâle, col blanc fin crémeux et toujours bien actif après autant d'années.
Arôme est funk, céréales, fruité assez sympa entre des touches agrumes, noyaux, le tout avec ce côté finement oxyé et cave/cellier des lambics.
Palais est toujours au top avec de fines notes d'oxydation sans nuire au caractère global - assez sèche en fin de bouche, petite note de rondeur d'abricot - agrumes frôlant avec l'orange sanguine
22-05-21 // 750ml bottle shared. Great finisher on an amazing can. Happy bday Tilquin! - this aged lovely. Carbonation still presents. Deep older funk later in the back of the throat. Dry.

Pours darker blonde, small, nearly no white head. Smell is full, very funky, strong woody notes, grainy, mild oxidative notes. Taste is full, intense, dry, oaky, funky, wet wood. Strongly aromatic. it's been years since I had it, but it certainly didnt go down !

Bottle from my secret stash at my dad's wine cellar. Drank in 2019. But hazy golden with not much head. Quite woody, dank funk, apricot, earthy, soft caramel and nice malts. Medium sweet and sour, almost medium bitter. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Aged great, but not so lively anymore.

Bottle from Tanakaya shared at a tasting. Slightly hazy light copper with a small head that dissipates fairly quickly. Big sour aromas with some yogurty notes as well: peach, pear, plum, lemon zest and wood all present. Taste is more of the same with a wonderful creamy rich mouthfeel. The fruit really stands out. Good tartness with a nice sour finish that lingers.
