On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Dorata pallida, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso sentori citrici e speziati, floreali (gelsomino), pesca, pepe rosa. In bocca è delicatamente equilibrata, attacco maltato con finale mediamente amaro, abbastanza pulita ma manca un po’ di spunto. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non male.

Bottle shared at La Tana a Bruxelles. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast and citrus. Flavour is light o moderate sweet and and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. [19-09-2016]

Bottle in Rome hotel room, 23/09/16. Light haze on a golden orange pour with a well appointed off white head. Nose is lemon sherbet, straw, light yeast tickle, tangerine, melon, light hop trace. Taste comprises orange peel, light candied fruit peel, straw, bready malts, vanilla, sweet malts, tangerine, light herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok if a little muddled, finishes too sweet for me, I’ve had happy saisons that retain that crisp clean refreshing close. This Juan doesn’t !
