This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Apparently inspired by changing a dirty diaper- yuck. Bottle from Taniguchi served in a snifter. Well that inspiration gave birth to this motor oil looking pour with a dense tan head and an aroma of savory chocolate covered bananas and dark molasses infused bread/pound cake. Full bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is deep liquid dark chocolate, white pepper/mild cinnamon, bready chewy chocolate chip cookies. Wow, this is a rich beast featuring cocoa nibs and vanilla. Yum.

Bottle from Bottle Shop at home on a cold Saturday. Pitch black pour with brown tan head with crop circle foam. Aroma is vanilla, some licorice, roasted malt, some sour hops. Taste is big but rather straightforward creamy roasted malt flavor. Vanilla and some booze on the finish, but not much else. Not bad at all but a bit of a disappointment.

Bottle - another solid, albeit overpriced imperial stout from this brewery - aromas and flavors of vanilla, tamarind, molasses, light smoke, roast, cherry - fairly sweet, but with a decent balancing acidity, spicy alcohol, and tannic character - I enjoy it.

Black color with a tan head, short to medium duration. Aroma as notes of roasted malts, black coffee with notes of vanilla. Flavor is roasty, notes of chocolate and coffee beans, slightly bitterness in the final with vanilla beans. Creamy and smooth on palate.

Tap@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen - black pour with thin tan head. Aroma and taste is roasty and sweet malty, with some chocolate, mocca, vanilla nuances throughout, smooth velvety mouthfeel, luxurious soft and creamy, great stuff. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone
