Tap at the Aldgate. Golden amber colour, small gold head. Aroma, lots of bitter hops, citrus, ultra grapefruit. Taste very bitter, lots of grapefruit, something stronger even. Bit of biscuit malt but citrus dominated. Full on. Ok, but nothing really stood out for me. Second time, October 2014, same but with minerals, tropical fruit, much better. Sherbert. What went wrong last time?

Truck off and I heard crystal-clear golden color. Aroma of resin, citrus, Light pine. Flavor shows subtle fruits and a mild caramel malts. Doesn't become overly sweet. Medium - light bodied.

Deep copper coloured copper coloured body that’s fully clear with a large, five centimetre tall slightly off-white head. Aroma of rye, malt, toasted malt, grain, alcohol and a bit of hay with some noticeable hop elements throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive flavours of grain and rye, especially with some nuts, earth, caramelised sugars and malt noticeable coupled with the lighter alpha acid hops. Aftertaste shows some robust flavours with mostly malt flavours, a little sugars and a touch of hops. Overall, a nice IPA for Nebraska, and one to try if you can find it - a good East Coast IPA that’s from west of the Mississippi! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from the Class VI Liqour Store on Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska on 26-October-2016 for US$8,99/six pack sampled at home in Washington on 01-September-2016 after working a long time at a big building in Arlington, Virginia.

On tap at Watering Hole. Served in a shaker pint. Hazy amber color with a slight head. Big pine needle and citrus hops on the nose with aromas of toffee and caramel as well. Taste is more of the same although really well-balanced. Full-bodied with a slightly rich and creamy mouthfeel. A touch of caramel goodness on the palate with a nice dry hoppy finish. Solid IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 06 Aug 2015 at 19:41 - Score: 7

12 ounce bottle from Libation Station. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of resin, citrus, pine hops with some tart fruits and a moderate non-descript maltiness. The taste is citrus hops, stone fruits and caramel malts. Medium bodied.

Draft - Fresh sweet grapefruit. Pale gold with a nice beige head. Sweet citrus, well balanced with malt and a light bitterness. Very well balanced mild IPA.

Given past experiences with this brewer, I was expecting this to be complete garbage juice - thankfully, I am pleasantly surprised - it is a bit overly sweet, but the sweetness is clean and does not keep the pine and citrus intensity of the hops from shining here - there is a light gingerbread note that also adds an interesting dimension - decent.
