(bottle) Hazy orange colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweet malty, slightly bready and not very wheaty aroma with a sourish touch, light notes of citrus and a shy spiciness of nutmeg. Moderately sweet flavour, malty, slightly yeasty and fruity taste; light to medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation; Fruity and slightly acidic finish. Quaffable Weizen.

Draught @ Mahrs, Bamberg. Cloudy yellow beer with a big white head. Yeasty, fruity, citrus aroma and taste. Medium body with a sparkeling, dry finish. (6-3-7-3-14) Bottle. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is very much citrus with a bit of winey smell to it. Flavor is all friut. Lots of orange and lemon. Not sure if the flavor goes along with this style but i must admit the frutiness really stands out. Still this is just so-so. Flavor is there but does not match up with the style.

At the brewery tap Rocky, creamy, white head - just like beaten egg-white, but not totally beaten. The head lasts fully. Murky, yellow body. Very lovely citrus aroma of citrus peels, lemon, ... The flavour in contrast seems to lack. Just somewhat sweet in the beginning. It’s not disgusting, but when you don’t have a lot of flavour, you can’t say it’s good either.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, pilsener golden with a dense, white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Medium-bodied with distinct notes of cloves and banana. Dry finish basically without bitterness. 170606

Hazed blonde ale with some floating material floating inside. Aroma is oxidized malt and lemon, as this is a bit old (crap BB 17-08-04!). Lots of honey noted too. In mouth, sweet honey malt and lemon notes, no bananas, a bit thinner, but holding good for its age. Bought at LCBO, in 2004 it seems.

Draught and bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy yellow, small head. Strong estery aroma with blueberries, jelly and bubblegum. Dryish with soft mouthfeel - the draught version being slightly more lively and easy on the tongue. Incredibly estery with notes of toffee as well. Blueberry sorbet dominate the finish.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Feb 17) Golden yellow colour, very hazy, with a nice frothy head. Nose has a distinct spicy smell of clove, and bananas. Taste is spicy, wheaty with a large spoon of banana ice cream. Clean and fresh.
