Tap at Macche in Rome. Ink black color with brownish foam. Nose: nesquik, powdered cocoa, milk and chocolate, hit chocolate and red fruit a bit. Mouth: it is an infinitive sip, really. It recalls the Dark Lord a bit more liquor-like.

Bottle [from trade with Ardyexfor] @ home. Opaque pitch black color with a full sized very dark brown head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, lots of chocolate, mocha, firm bourbon and some alcohol. The flavor has it too: malts, dark malts with soft roast, firm to heavy bourbon, chocolate, mocha, some alcohol. Dominating the aroma and dominating the flavor is bourbon, chocolate, mocha. Alcohol is present but it’s not your typical 15% ABV beer, it’s noticeable but never annoying, never too much. Soft mouthfeel, oily texture, soft carbonation. Awesome beer. Thanks Andy!
