Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-Christmas Tasting. It pours golden - orange with a thick white head. The nose is soft, fresh, juicy, tangerine, candied orange peel and sherbet. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy, toasty, soapy citrus, lemon peel, orange, tangerine, waxy citrus peel and a touch of alcohol in the background. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit hot for the abv. Fine.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, hints of tangerine and orange, biscuity and caramel malty background with a peanut touch. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly piney, cumulating hop bitterness, (zesty) notes of orange and tangerine, a touch of peach, caramel and biscuity malty basis, lingering bitter finish. Rather weak aroma, concerning taste almost paradigmatic for a special niche: the exposition of orange flavours in a typical West Coast IPA.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas/post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Cheers! Pours unclear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds citrus hops, lemon and tangerine, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with some white grape gummies, more tangerine, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet on the finish, with pale crackers, grass, citrus and pine. Just OK.
