Medora is a blonde sour ale aged in red wine barrels with one pound of blackberries and raspberries per gallon. The result is a beautiful fuchsia ale with bright berry character.

Tap at the brewery, Ashville NC. Lovely fruity aroma. Macerated cherry colour. Im not sold on the beer as a combination and the sourness is not fizzy on the tongue but more deep in the stomach. You can feel the aging in the wine barrels and taste it which is a nice touch. (31/3/22)

7-3-7-4-14 Bottle vintage 2016. Shared with Inbreak and friends. Pours maroon, with a small creamy head. Aroma is tart fruity notes of raspberries, wine grapes, tannins and wooden barrels, as well as forest berries and earthy minerals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid, with raspberries, currants and musty fruits, as well as grapes, funky brett, farmyard and minerals.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2019) Hazy amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with raspberries, blackberries and sour cherries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of raspberries, blackberries, tart fruit and a dry finish with a fresh acidity. Medium body, dry. Crisp, tart and well made. Very nice.

Bottled 01.08.2016. Pré inbev era. When WW was still a brewery I could respect. Pours clear copper with a pink glow to it. Small white head with good stability. Smell is oak, fruity, straight and simple funk. Taste is dry, fruity, minor lemon tartness. Bit funky. Fruity finish.
