Clear blond to orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: yeast, spicy, coriander, banana peel, bit funky, melons. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. taste: sweet start, lots of alcohol, more banana, bit sugary, malty. Aftertaste: sweet, raisins, oxidized, dried fruits, very yeast, little bitter, some sherry and calvados notes.

Zonderik Cuvée 2015 Limited Edition Huge, towering yellowish head over unclear peach to copper coloured beer. Vinous, wine-soaked wood, lactic acid, fruitesters. Toasted, liquorice, scorched sugar, alcohol, wood. Apricot, apricotbrandy. Bit raw, actually, certainly compared to the nose. Medium bodied at least, burning MF, well-carbonated, alcoholheat. Nose promised more than deliverd. Still, good strong sipping beer.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Rampkrot Tasting. Hazy golden, creamy off-white head. Nose is cheap honey, oxidation, dull & boring sugary with some cheap cognac / brandy I suppose, light plastic, some oak vanilla, a bit akin to a basic sugary & old tripel. Taste is plastic, dull oxidized tripel, boring sugar, vanilla, cheap honey & lots of cheap sugar sweetness, caramel, wood, cheap cognac / brandy. Thinned. Tastes like a heavy, old very sugary oxidized tripel with some cheap booze. Basic sugar. Quite disappoing.
