Thanks to MadMitch for bringing this to the London tasting, October 2016. Cloudy orange, dry and earthy. Yeast is noticeable in actually quite prominent in the aroma. Somewhat spicy, dry, like a De Dolle beer, malt forward, and more yeast in the finish.

Bottle split at Islo tasting, thanks to Kenny, 04/10/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a big old off white covering. Nose is sweet malts, boosty tunes, candied fruit peel, fruit loaf, dried prunes. Taste comprises orange marmalade, light spice, earthy strokes, subtle barrel notes, fruit cake. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid for the style, good balance, not too sweet, good rising boost level at the curtain call.

Bottle at the JK Ldn tasting. Cheers Kenny. It pours lightly hazy amber with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet, toasted grain, porridge, vanilla, toffee and brandy. The taste is sweet, sticky, rich tea biscuit, sugary, candy, earthy, wood, brandy, harsh alcohol and some soap with a bit of solvent on the finish. Full body and average carbonation. A bit sweet and rough around the edges. Fair.

Bottle shared at the CBC Islington for the jk tasting. Many thanks to kenny. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is woody tangy green apple, raw grains, husks, alcohol. Flavour is composed of Belgian yeast, caramel, toffee, hot alcohol, green apple, hairspray. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation, spicy finish. Lingering hot alcohol. Not a fan.

Bottle shared at the JK Tasting - Craft Beer Co., Islington. Many thanks to MadMitch. Pours unclear orange with a creamy crown. The nose holds butter, bread and ripe citrus. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, fairly alcoholic, with bready malts and light caramel. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with hints of maple syrup, low bitterness. A bit basic but OK overall.
