(Bottle) Deep amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, toffee, orange peel, pine needles and grapefruit. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, crisp-bread, toffee, pink grapefruit, black-currant, pine needles and a balanced citric, piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Lots of caramel an drye, and a good dose of hops, quite well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Coppery color, off-white head with good retention, some lacework. Aroma has notes of orange zest, high presence of resin hops and rye hints. Flavor has a decent bitterness, some spices, light toasted malts and caramel. Bittery final with rye mouthfeel.

Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). Hazy amber colour with a small off-white creamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, mild rye bready notes along with some spicy and caramel notes as well. Flavour is rye bread, some slight spiciness, mild floral and fruity notes with a quite big bitter finish. Nice bitter ryelike notes in the finish. Wellbalanced.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, dark copper-red with trace sparkle, finger-width foamy beige head with poor retention and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, rye, milder dank resinous and fruit hops, background malts. Taste is sweet tropical fruit mixed with resinous bitter that doesn’t balance harmoniously, along with spicy rye and addition of caramel sweetness at finish. Palate is medium bodied with silky texture, soft carbonation and finish like taste. Overall, instead of the sweet fruits and dank bitterness balancing each other out, they just conflict.

Last rating 2016. And what a beer. Lovely tasty, refreshing and nice stuff.
Nice almost clear amber color with a fine off white head. Fine lacing down the sides of the glass. Solid intensity in the aroma. Not to much, and not to mild. Medium to full body and a smooth carbonation level. Quite fresh and easy to drink. Help by a fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Oily texture. Toffee, dried fruit, candy, grapefruit hoppy, some pine and some spice in the flavor. One more please.
