Bottle, 8%. Yeasty and vinous aroma. Very dark brown colour, seems cloudy. Big fizzy brown head. The flavour is dry and vinous with a hint of metal and dark caramel. Citric and seemingly slightly unclean, but sort of refreshing still. 636315 / 6 6 6 6 7,5

This one’s a sub-par dark belgian strong bursting with metallic notes with some malts and low esters, definitely not an imperial (flavored??) porter.

Smell- weak malt, faint caramel, maybe roast. Foam- thin caramel, malt, weak bitter tones. Head is medium white to medium brown. Sticks. Appearance- generic bottle cap, the label is similar to the brewery. Dont feel like giving a bonus. Dark ruby color, maybe black. From - snifter Taste - malt, caramel, faint roast, weak bitter tones. Quite malty, with some bitter tones in the back. Not bad dark beer.

Bottle 33cl. from a local PLUS supermarket @Groenpark Simpelveld poured into a pilsner glass. Clear deep dark brown colour, small moussy tan head, slowly dissipating, thin layer remains, fair lacing. Aroma sweet and roasted malts, caramel, liquorice, light cocoa, raisins, Taste medium sweet and bitter with a light sour touch, malty, some roast, caramel, chocolate. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, liquorice, dusty notes, some alcohol, lacks a certain complexity, nice.

Bottle sourced from Saveur-Bière and drunk at home (14/03/2022) - pours near black with a off white head. Mix of dark malts, dark dried fruit shred, with notes of caramel and fudge giving some sweetness but tart tangy cherry prevailing vibes coming through, Belgian yeast esters, dark fruity finish. Ok.
