Come one come all! A tribute to the language barrier from international collaboration & inspired by our affinity for a Danish runner’s scarf & shorts. This Bloody Show is a crisp, tart pilsner drenched with the juice & zest of blood oranges. The result is a refreshingly tart lager with big citrus aroma worthy of even the hippest of Danish drinkers.

4/III/17 - 1Pt. can from Bierhalle Deconinck @ home - BB: VI/2018 (2017-356) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the can!
Clear orange beer, aery yellowish creamy head. Aroma: very fruity, caramel malts, some oranges. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, grains, metallic, malty, not so fruity as the smell would suggest, hoppy, bit medicinal even. Aftertaste: bitter orange peel, fruity, grassy, bit medicinal, hoppy, decent stuff!

Pint can from Wine Warehouse. Golden with a golden head. Smells of orange, lemon, light sewage. Flavor is bitter orange, grass, cracker, greens. Finishes bitter, almost like I had a dandelion salad.

On the can it says pills me with fruit but I smell mainly hops with a little note. Flavor is like nose and again it’s not so much like with the can describes it seems to me more of a pale ale with a hint of fruit. Great body for an APA and very good drinking.

471ml can.

Pounder: Orange and grapefruit nose. Hazy orange, thin head, good lace. Dandelion, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, tea, malt. Medium body, easy carbonation. Suprising amount of complexity, dynamic transitions, and good balance. I hate the name, but the liquid is really wonderful.

16 oz can poured. A slightly hazy golden orange pour with a thin fizz head. A citrus, orange, nice hop aroma. Juicy orange slice over a mild straw background. Very refreshing. Low bitter hops linger. I don’t know why I never considered fruit beer to fall universal to lagers and ales. Solid India session fruit lager here.

Can from Old Town. Pours a light copper with a finger of head that lingers. Big pungent blood orange nose with some orange, lime and a touch of catpiss. As it warms a bit of dank comes out on the nose and palate. Crisp and clean. Fruit is quite well-integrated on this one. Zesty bitter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Mikkeller Bloody Show on 26 Oct 2016 at 23:46 - Score: 7. Original review text: Pungent orange and some catpiss on the nose. Draft: Pours clear, dark amber with a small white head. Blood orange scent. Malty, orange pulp taste.....nice, deep orange-peel bitter. Almost salty-feeling at finish. Very good.
