A 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with dark sugars and molasses.

Big, overhyped imperial stouts, amirite? This one on fleek tho. The most amazing collaboration ever with Casita Cerveceria.

The perfect drink to finish your day or starting your morning, a kind of breakfast and a solid imperial stout with an interesting with the licorice, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry hop at the final, boozy and subtle, 19.10.20, at Epalinges.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a thin film of an eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: rich espresso up front with big caramel to toffee notes, light ashy notes, some dark chocolate
Flavor: leaning towards the sweet side but an ample tone of that dark chocolate makes a decent effort to balance; finishes with the espresso, the ashy tones and a light dark chocolate vibe
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some dryness on the tongue but a light smoothness
Overall: for the most part, this was a pretty nicely done impy stout, just needs some of that "ashiness" cleaned up a bit.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is espresso, roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, burnt malt, sugary notes, tar. Flavour is sweet with a moderate to medium roasty bitterness. Light booze. Body is full. Sweet, but also nicely roasty and chalky with espresso and dark chocolate in particular.

(Can) Black colour with creamy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with black bread, wort, treacle, chocolate, coffee and a touch of tar. Malty, roasted taste with notes of treacle, cacao, black bread, wort, coffee, a touch of cinnamon, resin, some smoke or tar and a sweetish finish with a balanced cacao bitterness. Almost full body, sweet. Lots of taste and really powerful. Hardly balanced, a bit too boozy, but still a nice one.

Backlog June 2019. Black body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark malt, caramel, chocolate and lactose. Taste is sweet and exactly like aroma. Low bitterness. One dimensional pastry stout, but nice for a few sips.

Can, 13%. Vinous, fruity aroma. Port wine, cocoa powder, jam notes. Black colour, seems unclear. Small dark brown head. The flavour starts off very sweet with a hint of metal. Later come cocoa notes along with more sweetness. OK bitterness, but not extreme. Some alcohol bitterness, but mostly round and warming alcohol.
