Malty, Roasty and Deceptively Smooth. It's an easy-drinking malty Copper Ale that goes easy on the hops. Originally called the Kronik, this beer was censored by the federal label-approving agency, the BATF — they claimed the word had some sort of Marijuana reference. We slapped a “Censored” sticker on it as a joke and they accepted it. Whatever. Net contents: Ounces and ounces of Malt, Hops, Yeast and water.

Pours a slightly hazy copper from a bottle with a quickly dissipating thin white head, a little lacing. Toffee notes in the nose, but not overly sweet as many ambers tend. Actually ends on a nice bitter hop note, takes you on a little journey. Very good beer.

Bottle at Len. Deep dark amber, cloudy, fine head. Citrus nose, grass, grapefruit, apple. Light earth and caramel. Balanced malt flavor, ok hops. Not bad, but unexciting.

12 oz bottle poured. Pours a thick oily copper color with a thin layer of foam head. Rich caramel malt aroma. Flavor matches up front, but has a lingering bready flavor finish. Less sweet than the initial impression. Refreshing beer from sure. Most important note I took from this beer: pairs nicely with a Bengals win.

Flaska@Svenska Hamburgerköket. Kopparfärgad vätska. Doftar sädigt hö. Lätt karamellig inledning. Neutral beska som dröjer sig kvar. Lite meh, hade förväntat mig mer.
