Pours out with a velvety, creamy head, dark copper color and lots of fine carbonation . Nice malty aroma and Tate with some hop dryness at the finish . Wonderful !

Some light citrus hops and a pretty rich malt profile. Pours amber with decent initial head and lacing. Pretty viscous texture, especially for style. Light sweet and sour finish. Light caramel. Bottle from Chevy chase.

Poured from 12 fl oz bottle. Clear, copper with off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops and caramel. Taste of caramel and toffee with grassy hops. Medium body. Decent, but forgettable.

The appearance was a clear red colored body with a foamy two finger lumpy white head that lasted for thirty seconds and slowly died to a half finger coating the top of the body. Though the body was fairly clear, no carbonation was seen rising. Some nice foamy ringy lacing graced the sides of the glass.
The smell was centered around caramel malts, a bit of light toffee all mixed in an earthy sort of way.
The taste was the same ingredients from the aromas blended very nicely.
On the palate, she sat at/about a medium almost closer to heavy with nothing harsh on the tongue.
Overall, well once again another Lagunitas brew impressing me that I would have more than another.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/26/2014. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy orange copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, toast, biscuit, floral, grass, slight pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of citrus/floral hops and caramel/bready malts; with good strength. Taste of orange zest, lemon zest, grapefruit, caramel, toast, biscuit, floral, grass, slight pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Slight amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange zest, grapefruit, caramel, toast, biscuit, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and caramel/bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/hop balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice amber ale. All around good balance of citrus/floral hops and caramel/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft - Nice carrel malts. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Caramel, a light dousing of hop bitterness and a slight metallic bitter finish. What an amber should be, but a bit simple at that.

Bottle. Pours very slightly hazy copper brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit, and caramel, with subtle hoppy notes. Sweetish taste of caramel malt and fruit, enriched by regular hoppy notes. Mildly bitter and grassy finish. A really nice Amber Ale.

Bottle sampled. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of malts, grain, yeast ,caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
